MIDOR Integrates Packing Lines With SAP R/3

MIDOR AG has been part of the Migros Group since 1928. Using modern technology, MIDOR manufactures biscuits, ice-cream and desserts that meet the highest quality standards.

MIDOR contracted apixxo AG to integrate its SAP R/3 Order Management with its production processes. The main functions of the implemented solution are:

• Integration with SAP R/3 production order data
• Material flow control including product tracking along the complete production process
• Release of finished goods for dispatch
• Confirmation of production data for SAP R/3

The complete solution was implemented on the basis of reusable components that can be enhanced at any time using additional elements. In addition to the featherlite framework, apixxo implemented the components Production Planning, Warehouse Control,  Management Information System as well as a certified SAP interface.
