Java Software Developer

The Position

You will complement our development team and provide maintenance and support services to our international customers. You will be involved in projects in the fields of Advanced Planning and Scheduling as well as Optimization.

You will participate in further enhancements of our state-of-the-art Java based featherlite platform, develop new components, support and maintain existing ones, take care of interfaces or build new GUIs. The combination of platform and generic components allows implementing new technologies and covering our customer needs in a fast, consistent and reliable way.

Your usual tools are the Eclipse IDE, XML and Subversion as well as selected Java-libraries like the Eclipse Rich Client Platform and JSF 2.0 on Open Source JEE Web Application servers.

You have the choice of the operating system you would like to work with.

Your Profile

You have several years of experience in object-oriented programming and have strong to outstanding knowledge of the Java programming language. Ideally you bring in strong competences relative to design patterns and Dependency Injection Frameworks in the environment of Eclipse Rich Client Platform or JSF 2.0.

You have solid soft skills and communicate easily with internal and external partners. You are thrilled at learning new skills, are very initiative and keen on building your own sphere of action.

You are fluent in speech and writing in both English and German.
